About Us

My photo
We make intentional lifestyle choices to use the abundance God has given us here in the U.S., so that we can give to those less fortunate than us in 3rd world countries. We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

Ugandan School

This school is a MUCH nicer one compared to some of the ones we will serve at later this summer. You can see all the colorful resources they have hanging on the walls and they have concrete floors instead of dirt. We are grateful that our sponsored children are part of such a wonderful program!
Alea with one  our sponsored sons. (They call him "mzungo" which means "white person" becuz his skin is so light.)
He is a leader in the class and a wonderful role model--responsible, polite, helpful, kind, etc. He has a huge heart for the Lord! We are very proud of him!
Imagine what our public schools would be like in America if we had these rules:
....or a yearly theme Bible verse:
....or if we said the pledge to he Bible inst ad of the flag:
Check out the poem below on the left. (Termites are a sweet delicacy here).
Imagine if these jerry cans were our water fountains at school:
Or this were our bathrooms:
