Baby Watoto
Our team could not get enough of holding the babies at Bulrushes (the name of the Baby House at Watoto Children's Center, because the very first baby they ever took in was named Moses). Instead of being drawn out of reeds or bulrushes, these babies are drawn out of dumpsters and latrines. Every child at Watotois a total orphan (no evidence of a mother or father and no relative claiming then). Some are found abandoned at Watoto's doorstep or given by local hospitals (when the mother runs off after the birth) because they know Watoto will provide the best loving care for them.
