Kids Club

Every day we drive into the Kibera Slum to do Kids Club (like VBS) with the 6th/7th graders

At Raila Educational Center (where First Love has the feeding program)

Joey is in charge of games again....

A good ole fashioned game of hook-up tag! The kids love any kind of structured, organized games.

It's fun to have Tom & Linda Clinton's granddaughter, Ashley, on our team again.....

she is so hands-on with the kids, great in the skits, so helpful & positive, and up for anything! 

Oops!!! It's never a good thing when the kickball goes over the ravine.....

(Did we mention there's no sewer system in the slums?)

We also do crafts......

Even the simplest crafts are a treat for them. We try to expose them to a variety of mediums throughout the week.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd. We are His sheep. 

We also do skits......

Songs....

And most importantly, a Bible lesson.....

There are many Muslims in Kibera, and Kids Club is often their only exposure to the Gospel.

We love interacting with the kids out in the school yard....

you feel like a celebrity! They ALL want their picture taken with you.

But you have to be careful, because they will knock each other out of the way to be in the photo...

It's always so hard to leave at the end of the day....

....but we have the First Love kids waiting for us at home!
