Fetching & hauling water for cooking & bathing is an essential part of each day.
The central water tower is a hopping place for the family groups who live at New Hope.
The surrounding villages collect water from wells that New Hope provides.
I don't know how they do it!!!

Jerry cans (usually yellow but sometimes green or blue plastic containers for water) are an essential symbol of life in Africa...you can't survive without a means of collecting water.

Notice how she's using a flower bud (below) to stop the water from spilling out...
