The Baby House at New Hope is called Hope House because it gives babies up to age 3 a healthy hopeful start to life. Many of the babies are reunited with their families at the age of 3, when they require less care, are les of a burden, and have made it through the critical stages of early development. Those who are not reclaimed by their parent or relatives are put onto one of the family groups at New Hope.
A highlight of Alea's day was going on the afternoon walk with the Baby House...
We walk to a different spot everyday, then stop to read to them....
And then walk (or race) them back...
