Here are some tax-deductable opportunities to make a one-time donation to the New Hope School in Uganda where Joey worked for one week:
1) The teachers desperately need a laminator to preserve all the posters they make by hand. You may donate any $$ amount that you'd like. Make the checks out to New Hope, but funnel it through us (we are taking this laminator project on ourselves).

In case you can't read the small print, that is $10 for one set of reading books or $250 for a whole class set of reading books. I can't imagine how $250 would be enough for a whole class, though, seeing as their class size is way more than 25 students (an average of 35-45) so feel free to give more if you want! Any of these donations go directly to New Hope (let us know and we'll give the info).
3) The above are for text books, but they have also asked Joey to stock their library with fun, culturally appropriate children’s literature. Their library is so pitifully empty, you can hardly call it a library. Joey will be doing a big Amazon order as soon as enough funds come in. These funds will be funneled through us (but again, made out to New Hope and tax deductable). Please let us know....any amount would be appreciated! This would be fun to do as a classroom fundraiser project or as a family!
