About Us

My photo
We make intentional lifestyle choices to use the abundance God has given us here in the U.S., so that we can give to those less fortunate than us in 3rd world countries. We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

Sponsor a Special Needs Child in Uganda....

I know I already did a plug in my earlier post "Special Needs Class" about sponsoring a disabled child at New Hope Uganda, but in case you didn't catch that one, I wanted to review and clarify before we wrap up our blog.....For $30 a month (or any incriment above $30) you can help sponsor a special needs child and will recieve a photo and general letter about the whole class/group, but obviously the child can't write you letters him/herself.  So it is a less personal option, but still a much needed one and it is still an on-going, long-term relationship with those kids.
This girl on the right has Down's Syndrome.  She is not a part of the Special Needs class at New Hope due to a lack of funding.  Every Friday, they host a Community Day, where mothers from the surrounding villages pour in with their disabled children to recieve a free meal, education, support, empowerment, networking with other mothers of special needs children, etc.  New Hope would love to take on any of these students as day students but there is simply not enough funding.  That's why generous donors like yourself are soo valued!  The more donors and sponsors they have, the more children can join the class.
Below are picture of some of the current students in the class:
