About Us

My photo
We make intentional lifestyle choices to use the abundance God has given us here in the U.S., so that we can give to those less fortunate than us in 3rd world countries. We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

24 Hours of Traveling

After 24 hours of traveling we made it to Nairobi, Kenya! Thanks Larry for the ride to O'Hare, thanks to everyone who joined us in sponsoring this trip, thanks for your continued prayers, most importantly thanks to God! To Him be all the glory!

Backpacks from the Czech Republic (given by Alea's B.F.F.)  that say "Adventurers".  Very appropriate!

Joey is deathly allergic to hazelnuts, and the first thing they handed us when we got on the plane was these little bags of hazlenuts!  Good thing he brought his epi pen!

International travel is GREAT!  The food was delicious! And they give you little bags with these eye shields, ear plugs, socks, lip balm, etc.

Jonas "This trip to Africa is boring so far! All we've done is ride airplanes and sleep the whole time!"

How symbolic!  This soccer ball was waiting for Jonas outside the door to our apt. when we arrived at 3a.m.
The cross in the heart is First Love's Logo.
