About Us

My photo
We make intentional lifestyle choices to use the abundance God has given us here in the U.S., so that we can give to those less fortunate than us in 3rd world countries. We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

Kitchen Crew serving Kibera Slums with love!

Helping peel potatoes.

We really fell in love with all the cooks at Raila Education Center.  They single-handedly feed over 1,000 students twice a day (a cup of porridge in the morning and a bowl of food at lunch).  Joey would eat his lunch every day with the kitchen staff and give his packed brown-bag lunch to one of the interns.  Agnes, Tabitha, Dorcas and Peter were such a good-natured jolly crew!  They would give us big hugs and kisses on BOTH cheeks every morning when we arrived, and every afternoon when we left.  Like I said, First Love is full of love!!!

Alea helping to serve the morning porridge.  One of her favorite things to do! The feeding line never seemed to end!

The older boys enjoying their morning cup of porridge (a thick drink).  Served during their morning break.
