The pool lounge where we hung out at night to get free wifi...but the sacrifice was being eaten alive by Mosquitos!
The pool where we cooled off every chance we got:
The hippos would come up out of the river at night to graze (because their skin is sensitive to the sun, they sleep in the water all day). They are herbavores and love the grass around the resort. We heard them at night but never saw them. The staff would escort us back to our rooms after dinner to make sure we didn't run into any hippos (even though some of us were secretly hoping we would ;)
