About Us

My photo
We make intentional lifestyle choices to use the abundance God has given us here in the U.S., so that we can give to those less fortunate than us in 3rd world countries. We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

The School Yard

A nice spot to eat lunch.

On Fridays, the students do chores around the school yard.
Like washing the floors & steps:
Sweeping the dirt paths:
No the boys below are not playing golf...they're slashing (aka mowing the lawn with a machete-like tool):
Even the girls slash:
Amazing no one get hurt, right?
Can you imagine if "1 slasher" was on the school supply list in America, like it is in Uganda?

These jerry cans are symbolic of life in Africa:
The students bave to fetch water for washing their hands, washing their dishes, washing the floors, chalkboards, etc.

The children gather under the "porch" every morning for assembly (devotions, announcements, songs, etc):
The HM (Head Master) asked us to address the student body as a whole (since we did our VBS individually to the various age groups) so were viewed our songs & message. Praying for a mass "stirring" of hearts in this school!
