We want others to see the difference as Jesus, not us. We are all sinners in need of a savior. We are NOTHING without Jesus! Everything we have comes from Him and it is such a blessing to share it!

Watoto

The word "Watoto" means "children". Watoto is the largest organization for orphans in Uganda. They operate several children's homes, baby houses, churches and even a children's choir that travels the world to raise awareness and recruit sponsors. Check out their website: www.watoto.com
Last time we visited Bbira Village, this time we visited Subi Village--their largest children's home.
The Children's Choir came to our church 3 yrs ago and the Craig family that came to serve with us for 2 weeks signed up to sponsor 2 children. It was such a joy to watch them meet their son & daughter, who are no longer just a photo int heir refrigerator:

We had a traditional lunch in one of the homes/family groups and it was neat to hear some of the kids' stories:

We set up activity stations for 500 kids to rotate through!

THANKS Amber Hibl for all the bags of candy! The kids got one "sweetie" at each station after they completed the activity.

Afterwards they treated us to a dance:

We also enjoyed the dynamic, powerful worship at Watoto Church in Kampala that weekend:
